Some Questions and Answers about WWE


World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE is a complete package for professional wrestling fans and is a perfect combination of romance, tragedy and entertainment. But there exist many curious questions inside its fan but still not clear to them. Let me answer some of these common questions.

Are the fights real?
No, it is a scripted show. All the fights are written earlier and all wins, moves, shots are previously scripted. It is similar to a play in a theater and a live event.

Are the wrestlers paid when they lost fight?
Yes, as the fight is according to the script, the losing wrestlers are also paid well. Wrestlers value is declared ealier and they are paid based on their value and role. Sometime the losing wrestler is paid more based on his/her role.

Are the wrestlers real?
Yes, they are real and their body structures are also real. They have special diet for their stamina and body structures. Sometime they are accused of using steroids and drugs to enhance their stamina. WWE has a special policy to avoid drugs and steroids usage.

Are the injuries and bloods are real?
Yes. Although the fights are according to the script, the injuries and blood seen during the fight are real. There are many examples of critical injuries during fight and even death.

Who owns WWE?
WWE is a public company. Vince Macmohan is considered as an owner of WWE who owns 52% of WWE share and is a CEO of WWE.

Russia-United States Alaska Purchase Treaty


Most of us might not know that, till 1867 Alaska belonged to Russia. United States acquisite Alaska from Russia in 1867 as low as $0.02 per acre. United states paid $7.2 million paycheck to Russia for 586,412 square miles of land. The amount is approximately equivalent to $121 million in 2015 dollars. The under estimation of value of Alaska is considered as one of the biggest mistake made by Russia in its history.

Tirumala Venkateswara Temple - The only Temple with DMAT Account


Tirumala Venkateswara Temple has now opened DMAT account, which is prabably first time by any religious temple. After having DMAT account, its devotees can now donate shares and bonds to the temple. According to a press released by temple, it has opend its DMAT account with Stock Holding Corporation of India.

Tirumala Venkateswara Temple is the richest temple in the world in term of wealth and donations reveives from its devotees. The temple is visited by about 50,000 to 100,000 pilgrims everyday (30 to 40 million people annually on average), while on special occasions and festivals, like the annual Brahmotsavam, the number of pilgrims shoots up to 500,000, making it the most-visited holy place in the world.

286 Runs in a Ball - Did it really happen?


If you are a Cricket fan, you must know how important a run is. The players struggle to run for 1 run. Do you know, how much could be the most highest run taken by a batsman in 1 ball? You will not surely believe it, it is 286 runs. Yes, it is 286 runs in 1 ball. The incident is recorded in Britain when the Queen Victoria had invited the neighboring team Scatch 11 for a cricket match in 1993. When a batsman from Queen Victoria's team played a shot, the ball stuck into a tree and unable to take it out. Till the ball was found, the batsmen managed to take 286 runs. Although the opponent team had requested umpire for stopping batsmen to run, umpire rejected the appeal. It was estimated that two batsmen run around 3.75 miles between the wicket.

1. Mount Everest



Mount Everest, also known as Sagarmatha in Nepal, is the highest mountain in the world. It is located at the northern parth of Nepal bordering with China. Its peak is 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) above sea level.

2. Kumari - The Living Goddess



Kumari - The Living Goddess is the tradition of worshiping young pre-pubescent girls as manifestations of the divine female energy or devi in Hindu religious traditions. The word Kumari, derived from Sanskrit Kaumarya meaning "virgin", means young unmarried girls in Nepali and is a name of the goddess Durga as a child.

The Buddha was born Siddhartha Gautama, a prince of the Sakya tribe of Nepal, in approximately 566 BC. On the full moon of May, with the rising of the morning star, Siddhartha Gautama became the Buddha, the enlightened one.

5. Swoyambhu



Swayambhu is an ancient religious buddhist stupa at the top of a hill in the west of Kathmandu. This holy piligrimage site for buddhist around the world is also known as The Monkey Temple.

6. Bouddha



Bouddha is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. The stupa is located on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu.

7. Durbar Squares - Kathmandu Valley







Durbar Square is the generic name used to describe plazas and areas opposite the old royal palaces in Nepal. It consists of temples, idols, open courts, water fountains and more. Before the Unification of Nepal, Nepal consisted of small kingdoms, and Durbar Squares are most prominent remnants of those old kingdoms in Nepal. In particular, three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, belonging to the three Newar kingdoms situated there before unification, are most famous: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. All three are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

In altitude it ranges from about 100 m (330 ft) in the river valleys to 815 m (2,674 ft) in the Churia Hills. A Saudi Pastor claims : Earth doesn't rotate the Sun


A pastor from Saudi Arabia has claimed that the Earth doesn't rotate the sun. He has published a video in YouTube stating the Earth is a static object and remains in same position. Many social media users are sharing / replying him with funny responses.

To prove his statement, he said if the earth is moving a flying plane will never be able to land on the airport which is in motion. He claimed this theory on the birthday of Galileo Galilei, who found the fact that Earth rotates round the Sun and is popularly known as a Father of Astrology.

Fun Facts about Rubik's Cube

 
Rubik's Cube consists of 26 individual cubes called "Cubelets". They are connected to each other inside such that each cubes can move around.
The cube was invented in 1974 by Erno Rubik, a Hungarian architect. It was originally called the "Magic Cube". He got the idea of Rubik's cube from how river pebbles had their edges smoothed away.
In 1980, Rubik's Cube was declared as the toy of the year.
More than 300 million Rubik's cubes have been sold world wide. If you stack them with each other, it would reach north pole from south pole.
Since 2003, the fastest Rubik's Cube solving championships have been held worldwide and called "SpeedCubing".
There are 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 possible arrangements for the Rubik's Cube.
Any arrangement of the Rubik's Cube can be solved in 20 or fewer moves.
In 2008, Erik Akkersdijk set a world record by completing the Rubik's Cube in 7.08 seconds.

The world "Selfie", declared as the word of the year 2013 is now listed into Oxford Dictionary. According to the agency among the 150 new words added to the Oxford Dictionary this year, the most trending and popular word is "Selfie".

According to Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary, selfie is explained as :

The only man to achieve 110 in 100 mark paper.


Have you ever heard of anyone achieving more mark than full mark? In fact it is impossible, and you might have never heard of it. But there is one person who got 110 marks in 100 full mark exam. The person is no other than a popular scientist and mathematician of India Mr. Satyendra Nath Bose.

The very talented Bose was born in Calcutta. He got his initial education at local school and later admitted to a Hindu School. The famous mathematician Upendra Bakshi used to teach mathematics in the school. Mr. Bakshi gave him 110 marks in a 100 full mark mathematics paper. The marks given was against the rule but it happened.

After knowing about it, the principal of the school inquired teacher Bakshi about it and he replied. Satyendra didn't leave any question and answered all questions correctly in given time. He even solved many questions in multiple approach correctly, so I can't stop myself giving him extra marks. After listening to Mr. Bakshi, the principal was speechless and was awarded with 110 marks in 100 mark mathematics paper. Also during his time at MMC, in a mathematics paper, no one can solve the answer and he was only a student to claim the question is wrong, which he proved infornt of his professors.
